Perkins Act reauthorization information – The Perkins Act provides federal funding for state and local career technical education programs at the secondary and postsecondary levels. The national CTE leadership organization, Advance CTE,  offers the most up to date information about the status of funding and reauthorization of the legislation. 

WIOA Implementation, Federal Policy and Funding – The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is the most recent incarnation of federal funding and policy for adult workforce training and adult education.  The National Skills Commission is the authoritative organization focusing on adult workforce Training.  To See their policy briefs on WIOA, click here.   

Indiana WIOA Implementation The Indiana Department of Workforce Development administers state funding from the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.  To see current information about the DWD’s implementation of WIOA, click here.
